What is Photometal?
Photometal is an industrial quality process that permanently reproduces an image below the surface of anodized aluminum. The image produced is scratch and fade resistant and comes in a variety of gauges (thickness), ranging from .008 through .032 of an inch.

Photometal remains the best way to permanently reproduce photographs, drawings, and articles and is used for not only attractive awards, but also creative signing and nameplates for industrial and commercial usage. Your list of potential clients is virtually unlimited.

Over time the product may be subjected to any or all of the following conditions without harm to the product: direct sunlight, intense heat, handling, abrasion, dirt, grime, solvents, fuels, paint, impact, graffiti, salt spray, blowing sand, moisture, and extreme cold.

The right choice, and why:

  • Most chemicals roll off photometal parts with no effects.
  • Photometal doesn't fade — even super fine small text and graphics withstand violent extremes.
  • Photometal parts can't peel or delaminate because the image is embedded with a super hard-anodized layer.
